Each year students in 4th and 5th grades apply to be a peer mediator. These students must fill out an application, have it signed by a teacher, interview and be trained in order to be picked as a peer mediator. Peer mediators must maintain a positive attitude and follow the school rules at all school functions.Trainers: Carolyn Hainer, counselor, and Bev Maddox, READ. Facilitator is the physical education teacher.

Students in all grade levels enjoy music and performances. 4th and 5th graders can chose to be in choir. This is led by the music educator.

Mr. Aldridge insructs 4th and 5th graders in violin and trumpet. He also plans concerts for the students to perform.
